Multisensor snow/ice cover maps: Northern Hemisphere

Snow and ice cover over Northern Hemisphere is derived from combined observations of NOAA AVHRR, MSG SEVIRI, GOES Imager and DMSP SSM/I

The algorithm is fully automated.

This is an experimental product. Snow maps are available since Feb 2007.
